Great! Could I bother you for some chest and hip measurements if you have a chance? I am about a 14-16 so I am hoping it's not too big.

I'm not home now but will be happy to measure it later for you. I can tell you for sure that it will not be too big -- I'm wearing an 18 this week (!) and unfortunately it's too snug for me. Best fit is going to be a 14 or 16 with hips up to the mid-40s. It's an underbust style so there's some flexibility there.

A thought on this style for you or anyone else who's got one or is thinking of getting one:
If you don't want the sparkling or contrasty bra look to go with the dress but want something a little more polished or supportive than the L. Rose dance bras, try ordering a matching tube top or two and use it/them to cover a sturdy bra that gives you a nice shape. Add a little trim if you want and top it off with a hipscarf, and wow! A friend of mine did this recently and got herself a very elegant look and custom fit without a huge investment of time or money.

Details:
The dress measures 43 to 44 inches across the widest part of the hips with the fabric completely unstretched. It's a good-quality stretch velvet with lots of give so will stretch a couple more inches if needed to hug your curves.
Length is difficult to measure accurately because of the trumpet-style bottom, but for reference I am 5'5" and it's a few inches too long for me to dance barefoot in. However, one nice feature of this style is that there's a seam running straight across at mid-hip (hidden by your belt or hip scarf), so if the dress needs to be shortened it can easily be taken it up from there. It's an easier job than hemming it from the bottom, and you don't lose any of the swish.
