Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
Hi all,
Im looking for a good source for coinless hip scarves. Would like something of good quality and pretty. Can have fringes and nice shiny glass beads.
Alternatively if someone has one they are willing to part with-even better.
Im open to most colours-triangular shape prefered

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
I have two that I'm getting ready to put up on the Swap Meet.
They are both black with multicolor beads. One is triangular, one is the straight Egyptian kind and I actually have a third one that is really CRAZY, it has long big fringe with beads and paillettes, I saw someone wearing one recently on one of the little ads that run alongside the forum posts. Someone once referred to it as "car wash" style, after those big brushes that whip your car as you drive through. The triangular one and the car wash one have never been worn. The triangular and Egyptian one are both chiffon, the triangle one is a nice heavy chiffon (gotta be to support all those beads!)
Like I said, I'll be posting these in the next couple of days. I saw your post about the endless wave pants, they look really stunning but I don't want satin ones but ones that are all chiffon or a more limp fabric than satin, anyway.

Oh man, I can't wait to see photos...I'm trying to find a hip scarf to match a top I bought! My post is here...the top is red with hematite beads.

L Rose has fringe tie belts that might be up your alley.

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
I have some that are straight line on top (fold over) and triangular point on bottom - they have glass bead loop fringe around all the edges. I currently have: 1 yellow with silver beads, aqua blue/green tie dye soft wash with gold beads, bright green with gold beads (reminds me of the 70's), black with a little leafy design and black beads, maroon with gold/maroon flowers and gold beads, and a purple/white washout with gold fringe. From end to end, they measure between 56"-60". I sell them for $22 each. I also have some paillette hip scarves in fun colors/styles that I sell for $35-$40. The buyer would have to pay for shipping. I can take pics today and get them up later.

Here are the pics! One picture turned out funny, but I kinda liked the effect...that's what I get for asking my 6 year old to take the picture!

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
Great!
The pics of the red paillette scarf is not showing its true color very well. It is a pure red, not pinkish or maroonish, just bright red.

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
Mikky - if you are interested, that one is $40 + shipping. I will have to determine how much that would be, but I would make it as cheap as possible for you. Let me know if you want it and how you want to work out the details,

Hi there! Could you please let me know the measurements from end to end? I'm not tiny and some scarves are just too short (usually the ones I really want!).
Thanks much!!!

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
The entire scarf is 73" from end to end and the top rows of fringe are 35" from end to end.

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
Argh - here I go again buying another "court jester" scarf... I'll take it (black paisley pictured w/orange)! I assume all beads/paillettes are intact? PM me your paypal info when you get a chance as well as shipping to 48071. I have a DHL account and that may be cheaper, I don't know.
Thanks!!!

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
I looked it over and it appears that all beads and paillettes are intact. How many 'court jester' scarves do you have? Is this saying something? :) I am heading to the post office now and will find out what the cheapest route is to ship this. I have never done DHL but I looked online and if I did it right, it said $9 something. It will be cheaper with USPS. But let me know if you prefer DHL and maybe your account would make it cheaper. Will let you know ASAP!

Re: Iso Coinless Hip Scarves
The shipping would be $4.50 in a padded envelope - this is the cheapest. The next rate would be $4.80 in a priority mail envelope. These rates are all from USPS. Let me know what you would like to do. I can also invoice you, or you can find my PayPal account with my email: morgana@copper.net
Thanks Mikky!
