ISO Gold, Silver or Renn-Type Trim

Hi, would anyone be so kind as to share some good resources for trim (also gold/silver metallic or metallic-accented trim or Renn-Faire type) by the yard?

(Or maybe someone has some unused hanging around?)

I'm looking for the ribbon/sew-on type in widths from 1/2" to 3" wide and I need quite a bit.

Thanks for any leads!

You may want to try The Pillaged Village . Go into their online catalog, they have a whole section devoted to trims by width.

Thank you for the info! This is an amazing coincidence, I just ordered some period patterns from them today.

Thanks for your referral to Trimtex on the costuming thread, Ruta - unfortunately although they have a website, it just points to local distributors (regular fabric stores like Jo-Ann's).

I can just imagine what a great store it must be!

Yep, I just came back from "Jo-Ann's" (sorry, not my favorite store!) and guess what - I never noticed - almost all of their trims were by Trimtex (from the labels on the spools) - But the mark-up- I can only imagine it MUST be cheaper in TX, I envy you !!!!
