Help with a webpage

Im not sure what I did, but this webpage used to work for me and now it doesnt.

When I opened the page it asked me to run system x or something like that and I said no. I think I should have said yes.

Now it completely loads except for the video part. its just an empty tiny box.

can anyone help?

Thanks

Hopefully someone's had this issue already, and can help. Otherwise...Are you on a Macintosh? That's the only reason I could think it would say that.
If you're on Windows, double-check to make sure you have Windows Media Player 11, and all the latest security and software updates. These videos are definitely in .wmp (Windows Media Player) format, and you'll need it properly installed to see them (unless you know a few tricks...AHEM).

*smacks forehead* That it! ActiveX, not Mac OS X...sorry, there's a lot of X's in GeekSpeek. :(

What it likely asked habibiyaeini to do was to download an ActiveX component that installs the "drivers" (for lack of a better term) to see the video, possibly because of a change on the website, or in her installation of Windows. Not sure, off-hand, of a solution that's obvious; it should just keep asking her, from my experience.

Weird. And annoying. We'll see what develops...

The request for ActiveX downloads is a security feature implemented to prevent websites from running content (viruses and malware) on your computer without your consent/knowledge. Usually when this happens you get a small pop-up under your browser menu, all you have to do is click allow ActiveX downloads for this site, and you're set.

If you find this particularly aggravating, you may want to consider switching browsers to firefox, which doesn't have this pop-up.

I had to bang on the start button of the video to get it to play, but it finally did.
