My ipod is acting up...

Its will go through a song, make a horrible noices (like a scratchy LP), then the whole system will quit.

I tried rebooting it. Didnt help. Whats up with that?

There might have been problems during your download. Does it happen with all your songs or just some?
If just some, you might try re-downloading them to your IPOD.
When my IPOD acts weird, I re-boot and all is well.
Let us know how you figured it out, and if you fixed the problem.

I would go to the Apple Store and see if they can help you. The Apple Stores by me are really helpful, friendly, and I've gotten great customer service from them.

Yes, we have two of them, one in Boulder and one in Broomfield, which is 6 miles south! At a fabulous mall, I may add (the one in Broomfield - the one in Boulder isn't so hot)

www.apple.com has a very good help function. I'd try reinstalling the ipod (which will wipe everything on it), and then putting all music back on it. Sometimes, that fixes things.

And, www.apple.com will also show you where to find Apple stores - they usually have very friendly and competent people around.
