Re: My pics are too big for profile
I made my pics smaller in Photoshop. I think the allowed size for this site is somewhere around 600 pixels or so. I forgot the "exact" mesurements.
But if you able to find a photo editing software that will shrink them done to 600 pixels or less, then they will upload just fine.
I'm not at my home computer right now, but I will try to remember the steps, (if you happen to have Photoshop).
In Photoshop, go to Edit. The drop down menu will have the option to "Resize Image". Click on "Resize Image". Then another box pops up. This box shows the current dimensions of the picture (height, width, etc.) One of the top boxes is the one that will allow you to change it from inches to pixels, vice versa). From there you can change the height or width of the pic to however many pixels you choose. Just as long as they are under 600 pixels.
Then when you are done, under the File menu, choose "Save for web" assign a name to it, and that's should be all. When you are ready to exit Photoshop, it may ask you if you want to save any changes. Click "No" because if you say "Yes" it will shrink your original picture.
I hope I remembered everything. Hope this helps. I sure other ladies may have some ideas that may be a little easier (although this is not very hard, but some people tell me that Photoshop is a little difficult for them). Good luck!
