Isn't there a way to make a simple cut with iTunes?

I remember on the classic Bhuz, someone posted a way you could use iTunes to make a simple cut to a song. It would only work (I think) if you were clipping off a bit from the end or the beginning of a song. I tried it, it worked, and now I can't remember how I did it.

Can anyone help?

If you right click on the song and select get info, go to options and you can select the start time and finish time of the song you have selected. Thats the only one i know of in itunes.
