Usually, I just save the pic by going to "Save As", and changing the type of picture (file) below the file's title. It usually works. Try this and let me know.

I think you can use MS Paint to do this....

Yes. Just open it up in photoshop then do a 'save as' and save it as a jpeg. Let me know if that doesn't work, you could e-mail me the file and I could do it for you.
