Saving Pictures

Does anyone know why I can't save costume pictures from Dahlal's website? It seems like everyone else can, but I can't .

I've asked three people about it and none of them has a clue .

Any help is appreciated .

Thanks,

Azeeza

i also cant...but you can do that way:
open in MICROSOFT WORD...then go to the website, when you want to save a costume picture, you click CTRL+C (at the same time, first CTRL then the C)
After that, go to Word and past there, the picture will show up there.

Let me know ...

Agh! It's not working!

When I go to the website, click on the thumbnails to enlarge them, and I right click, nothing, left click nothing. Nothing gets highlighted, no noise, nothing.

However a friend of mine, with an older computer, isn't having any problems with saving the photos and some Bhuzzers aren't having any problems saving the photos.

I just can't seem to pinpoint what the issue could be. Is it my computer or has something changed on the website? If something did change on the website, why can some people have access to saving photos and others not? It doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

Thanks for trying to help me. I appreciate it.

I think they are copyright protected...thus the right click is not engaged when you visit...She is quite nice if you send her an e:mail she will most likely send you pic's.

You could try with a screen-shot CTRL+ALT+Print (well, I guess it is print as my keyboard is in german and there is written "druck" on it, anyway, it's the one right to F12) copy into a picture-editing-program and cut the rest you don't need away.

Sha-ri:

Would it be the button read "PrtScn SysRq"? If so, I tried Ctrl + Alt + PrtScn SysRq and nothing happens .

I wanted to save pictures for future sales of costumes I have that are on the website .

Thanks,

Azeeza

I have no idea what is written on the button on an english keyboard.
I haven an US keyboard on work, I'll look it up there on monday.

When you press this combination you take a "pic" of everything that is on your screen in that moment (that's why it is called screen shot). When you go to a picture editing program like photo shop or so and then press CTRL+V, say "insert" or something like you can then cut it (as there surely will be stuff in the screenshot you don't need) and save it.

like

Well, I had to make it a bit smaller as bhuz doesn't allow pics any wider than 600pixels but that's how I save pics from Dahlal (you never know you wouldn't want to order a similar costume when you have the money but then couldn't find it on their page any more...)

Screenshots

You can also press alt+PrintScreen (the alt on your left, not Alt Gr) and then you will take a screenshot only of the window you have selected, not the whole desktop. Don't know how that works on a Mac/Linux system though.

I use MS Paint to edit these screenshots, good enough to cut out any frames/menu bars and such. Take a screenshot with alt+PrintScreen, open up MS Paint and paste the screenshot in there.

I've tried that and nothing happens either.

I'll have to rely on friends to help me with saving photos, I suppose .

Thanks,

Azeeza

From what I have heard, photos from Dahlal's site were recently stolen and used by other people on their web site pretending the photos to be their own. She may have disabled the "right-click save as" for her site because of this.
I don't know what she offers as far as photos for individuals, but Audrena has had me send photos to people for their personal use, when requested, or specially edited photos for eBay usage.
Probably Dahlal would do the same, if you asked her.
