Woooowhoooo - looks a lot like my packing list made over lots of years of experience! i can't think of anything to add or subtract. I ditto your advice of not taking sandals for everyday sightseeing and walking because of the the DIRT and SAND which is EVERYwhere! I usually take a pair, but only for when I know I won't be doing a lot of walking where there is a lot of unavoidable sand and dirt. oh, did I say I seldom wear them?!

Wonderful blogs! I spent four weeks in Egypt this past February and am so looking forward to returning in November. I've spent several years living in various European countries and this was my first visit to Egypt. What a shift!

I'll post more about my experiences there and the amazing teacher training seminar with Prof. Hassan Khalil at ISOC at a later date. In the meantime, reading your blogs brings back so many memories. Thanks for sharing!
