If You're Going To Istanbul For Folktours...

..and you're changing planes in Hamburg on Monday afternoon, look for me and say hi! I have henna'd wavy hair and asymmetrical bangs, not too tall, probably an obvious New Yorker, and I will be bored out of my mind on my 4.5 hour layover. Plus I don't sprechen the Deutsch.

See you in Turkey! Yay!

You guys are gonna have THE BEST time! I've heard it's an AMAZING tour- and Artie and Tayyar are the best!
Leela, in the airports in Germany all the staff (or at least almost all) will speak *edit* ENGLISH, I meant to say ENGLISH. Sorry. *finish edit*...and many non-employees will as well.

Ha ha, no, you see, I *don't* speak German, which is one reason I'll be bored on that long layover. I can, however, swear up a storm in Yiddish, which is very close. And I can say "Ladies and gentlemen, the library is closing" in Dutch.

That's OK, I've got 8 books in my carry-on luggage.
