2. Deposit should be sent in maximum period of 1 month after the

Is there any info on where the festival will be in Cairo - & what the schedule is ?

I just looked at the website http://www.raqiahassan.net and the teachers are listed, but the hotel and schedule are not up yet.

Finally they are doing it in Winter - I always thought it crazy to do a dance festival in Egypt in July. Much too hot!
But then, just before Christmas is not such an ideal time either...

Anyway, have fun, those who go!

I went to a few classes in the last couple of her winter intensives. I like it better because there is much less people than in the summer. but because of lower attendance there were last minute changes in the teachers and schedule. I just hope they dont do it all the way in Sakkara like the first year...
great list of teachers this year but cant go that early in December because i finish teaching classes on December 16th : (

I got an email from Raqia (group email) to drum up business I guess. I thought it was more about professional/teacher training as opposed to the typical festival. And I thought you had to take the whole thing.

Well, I can't go anyway as I don't have vacation time and I don't have the money . . . it is a lot when you think about the airfare . . . but if you do it all (and hotel included) then I guess it could be worth it for 10 days.

Too many things to do . . . too little time and too little money!!
