Just wanted to share an unfortunate situation with bellydance-shop.com. Ordered two skirt and veil sets. First off the skirt on the website said "white with chiffon", it is not white, but is "silver, with white chiffon". Then the lilac skirt I ordered shows double layer and heavy fabric, but in fact it is extremely see-thru and one layer of fabric. I ordered the veils to match both skirts, they are so small that my 10-year old can use them, but I won't be able to! I emailed them on several occassions to explain my dissatisfaction in a pleasant manner and asked them about returning these items, but.....no reply! They replied quickly when I wanted to make a purchase prior to this problem, but not for any sort of complaint. All I want is for them to be more specific and honorable of their products. I learned and I hope you all do too. Ask so many questions, even if they seem like silly questions....ask! I never thought to ask if the skirt was white or silver. They said it was white with chiffon. Oh boy! Just be careful. Thanks for reading, neena :)

Try tricking them with the subject line making it look like you want to buy something but then throw in the complaint. Don't they have a return policy listed anywhere on their site?

By the way, let's be real clear that 'bellydance-shop.com' is NOT 'thebellydanceshop.com' or 'bellydanceshoppe.com' which are reputable & beloved vendors!

Thanks for relating to me in this situation. I'm so easy going that I'm not going to do anything about it, but take it as a lesson and pass it along. By the time I send it back to Turkey it will cost me a fortune and I've already paid a lot for shipping in the first place. I'll be out of $50 in total on shipping alone! You're all such a great support system! bhuzzers are the best!

You weren't misleading at all -- I just realized that the first time I read the web address I didn't register the dash -- my head just silently 'spoke' the words and I almost jumped to the wrong conclusion myself.
