Anyone have contact with Hiba?

I bought a "Hadia #5" via Paypal from Hiba here:

Videos, DVDS and CDS for sale! Great prices and Brand new!

...and still have not received it. I have posted here on Bhuz to contact her and emailed her. One email address comes back as "on vacation for 2 weeks" but that was weeks ago. I found another email address for her on her website and got no response from that one. I also received a PM from another Bhuzzer who is in the same dilemma as I am and has been waiting longer than I to receive an item.

Does anyone else know her and what may be going on or have contact with her?

Hello Lisa,

I see from the thread that you paid for the DVD on the 26th of May. Hiba is in Canada. Assuming customs does not get their hands on it and she sent it right away, you're looking at about a 2wk delivery time to the US.

Often, items are held up at customs and I wouldn't worry until the 6wk mark at least. I know it's inconvenient, but as a gal from Canada it's very frustrating when after shipping an item I'm repeatedly contacted about where an item may be.

Once it's shipped all you can do is wait. I honestly wouldn't worry just yet. Not sure why you're having a hard time contacting her, why she's not replying or suggesting your concerns are not valid - I just wanted to express that shipping across the border is really inconsistent.

Generally, you're looking at 2-6wks. Sometimes more, usually closer to the 2wk mark. If you're in a hurry, it's best to go courier...

Hiba can sometimes be hard to contact but keep at it. She is pretty good to deal with. :) Sometimes it may take a bit to contact her but she is pretty good at the follow through. ;)

There is another Bhuzzer who notified me that she has been waiting about 6 weeks now for her item. I would feel better if I could hear back from her.

I'm waiting too - I emailed her early last week and I haven't had anything back from her yet. I paid on the 16th May - thats over 6 weeks ago.

just a quick note. I had a similar issue with an ebayer. You may wanna file that claim through PayPal - for a refund - before it is too late. I filed a claim because I never got the items I purchased and - wow, the items showed up on my doorstep. Magically!!

Sorry you have to do this but it is worth it.

its nothing new with Hiba!! tis why i dont buy from her...after the disaster i had. And many others i have read about in the past. There is another bhuzzer I wont buy videos from either due to lack of shipping within reason...then excuses after excuses. This has not just been 1 time either!

I think everyone who has purchased and not heard should upen disputes with their credit card companies and paypal.

Thanks for the heads up Shay. I filed a dispute with Paypal. This is looking like another Bhuzzer that a number of buyers were having problems with.

Still no contact and lots of false promises. The email address she gave me is useless. Has anyone had any contact with her during Oct?
