Question Customer Service at Bellydance-shop.com

Has anyone here ordered a custom costume from Bellydance-shop.com? If so , how long did it take to get your order? I placed my order on 30 May 09 and made my payment. I know custom sizes take longer; however, I have not received any response to my emails or feedback and am starting to worry that my order never got to them. Any recommendations?

Call them. You do have your receipt? Was it through paypal? I haven't ordered throught them but I know it has taken as long as 4 months for me to get a custom costume (Dahlal).

It took me 7 months to get a custom costume from Dahlal so timelines can be short and long. Call/Email them.

Thank you both for your recommendations!

The costume showed up yesterday evening. No receipt, and the Customs slip listed the contents as "one sample dance costume - a gift. Value $10". Shipped 1 July. Since I never got a response to my previous emails, I don't know if they got my confirmation of receipt. At least it arrived, and fits.

What..??? 1 month is too long time for Bellydance-shop.com!

Please call and ask your order.
I bought custom size costume 4 times and I receive within 15 days after placing order. You need to call them.

I spoke several times with customer support. They are so noble and helpful peoples.
I think your problem at cargo company. You can receive more quick if you choose DHL for this company.

Hi everyone!

I recently placed an order to bellydance-shop.com for a coin bra, skirt, and belt. However I've yet to receive any tracking information or a change in status from processed to shipped! I've tried e-mailing both customer service and the order department with no reply. I've also tried online support to no avail. I placed the order on November 22nd and today is the 30th. After hearing about the quick shipping times they normally have I'm a little worried!

Problem is I move out of my college dorm for winter break the 12th (the package is supposed to be shipped here) and don't have another address as of yet.

Are their packages normally sent without tracking numbers? What's their normal shipping time-frame? Hopefully all these exams are making me worry more than I should!

I placed an order with bellydance-shop, about a wek ago. And I have not received my order or an order confirmation yet. And they dont reply to my messages. Do anyone have suggestions?

I would recommend picking up the phone and calling. I have had a breakdown in communication with them ordering online 2+ years ago, which left me frustrated. But then I changed my mind recently when I had the opportunity to shop on location, where I learned that the store is at the owner's house, and she is working very hard to keep the glittery "beast" (i.e., hundreds of incredible costumes) under control and to make her customers happy. Chances are that the fault is with her email account. I am sure that a quick phone call will be all it takes.

I sent order 3 times and I received within 5 days maximum all orders. (my location is Argentina and I placed last orders 15 days ago)

I think you have problem with comunication and I think everybody received orders. Because I satisfied for all products and service.

They have US based phone number and you can call them. I use this number for help.
