Help, can't download ebook?

I've just click on the ebook ad on Bhuz which takes me to

http://www.bauchladen.net/marta_downloads_en.htm

Bought the Marta Quick Step to the Tabla Solo ebook which was only $2.75 US . But the url it takes me to has a error.

Has anyone else had this problem? How long should I wait till I try and get a refund from Paypal?

Maybe you should contact the advertiser directly? The Bauchladen people, I mean.

Hello, I noticed that you have posted your concern on several different internet forums. If I recall correctly, I think I have seen threads on her, plus yahoo, and also maybe tribe. I am curious, have you had a negative experience withthis vendor before? Maybe it is cultural (as I am american vs australian), but it seems like you're extremely upset about this to be raising it on so many different boards. Given the time difference between australia and germany, it does seem (to me) like 24 hours should be the absolute minimum to expect an emailed response form the vendor. Was it nighttime there at the time you sent your message?

Although I definitely agree that it's frustrating the link was broken, and that it should have been functioning.

ps - I should add that when I said 24 hrs shoudl be abslolute minimum, I just meant in terms of feasibility because of time differences. I think that the link should have been operative. But since that was not the case, it may not be realistic to expect service in real-time from another continent...

Hi,

As it turned out, the ebook is delivered manually and I did download it last night.

But to answer your response I was definitely concerned that there was no automated process explaining how this file was going to be delivered. I just paid my money and got sent to a non existent webpage. Having set up a paypal buy now button for someone, I thought this was quite odd. Their policy is that the return url explains all this or you get an email.

I'm use to getting ebooks delivered via an automated process. Not have an indication of how to get the ebook once I paid for it prick my suspicions that something wasn't above board.

There were other red flags like no useful information doing a whois on the domain name and having to pay via a non english paypal system. So I want to see if anyone had any dealings with this site. I only posted on here and yahoo.

HI,

I have never paid for an ebook, but it seems you've done the process before, and based your expectations on the "usual" experiences, so you had more knowledge on it than me. I guess that it's not normal to have the problems you did. Glad to hear it all worked out in the end.
