Anyone bought from them?

They have some really cheap costumes like this one:

High End Beautiful Professional Belly Dance Costume - (eBay item 120133793950 end time Nov-15-07 11:07:19 PST)

You're right they are nice, I like all the colours. But, I don't like the fact that shipping is free to the US and $50 everywhere else! This is one of my pet hates. I don't expect free international shipping but if it's free in the US then it should be reduced for us. (IMO)

Hmm, this is the first time I've seen this costume and vendor. It's beautiful but I'm wondering where it's made... it might affect the quality. I see some belly dance stuff on ebay coming out of China and India, that look almost like the stuff from the Middle East. Especially since this vendor mostly has electronics...
But maybe that's just my skepticism

He's been on Ebay for a while and has had these costumes listed for ages. I was really tempted a while back but decided not to risk it.
His feedback is pretty good, although I wasn't able to find any feed back from someone who'd bought one of these costumes. The closest I could find was men's silk socks. Those, apparently were great....hee

Regards
Priscilla

The stitching on some of those reminds me of the beaded stitching you would see on a gown. Its kind of strange that among all the electronics, they would sell belly dance costumes too. I believe that the costumes are indeed coming from China or perhaps Pakistan. Notice also that they don't say where the costumes are made/coming from. Anyway, I wouldn't buy them.

that bra doesn't look like it would fit quite right.

have to agree,...I see the cheaper and quite pretty Indian stuff at haflas here all the time and they just don't look right and rarely are the bras a good support/fit. I'd stick with a vendor who imports basic Egyptian/Turkish bedlah that are sturdy and can be embellished if you want. I think Dahlal's and others are a safer bet.

That is a very pretty costume. But the side straps coming off the bottom of the bra look strange.

I might take a chance if you could return the costume if you're not satisfied with it. Keep in mind that even high-end costumes require tweaking to fit perfectly.

You would probably have to add an over or under skirt to the "see-through skirt" that is included.

I think those are separate arm bands, if you look at the later pictures.

I mean the way the bra is constructed, it looks like the side straps come down at an angle from the bottom of the bra cups (in the 5th picture down). It looks fine as modeled on the manikin, I just wonder how it actually works having the straps like that.

But it's a "high end professional" costume! It says so in the title!
Gotta love that
