Holiday cheerleading squad!
Okay ladies, we're on top of Christmas/New Years indulgence period, so let's start posting our fitness and nutrition victories to keep us motivated!
I more or less kept my head at a housewarming/christmas gorge fest last night and nibbled on the cheese that I liked best, saving space and calories for a small birthday gathering afterwards which involved a lot of artichoke dip and a birthday cake that rang in 410 calories per serving. I stuck to a half slice and decided not to feel guilty about the artichoke dip. As my birthday is on Dec. 19th, and my father in law's is on Dec 26th, this is an especially food-stuffed lunch for me (and I do like my food!).
Today I ate lightly - not especially hungry after last night! - and did 40 minutes of sweaty, sweaty circuit training, 20 minutes drilling shimmies, and 15 minutes of improvisation practice. Yay me! Looking forward to more circuits tomorrow, and drilling of new moves tomorrow.
So how about the rest of you? What good stuff have you been up to? No triumph is too small!
