    this is what i do:
    1. make your own trail mix with g/f and dehydrated raw ingredients.
    2. pack a little cooler with carrot sticks, celery, sliced cucumbers
    3. seeds and nuts
    4. sliced apples, dehydrated fruit
    5. lara bars
    6. corn chips - the healthy ones not the 1000 calorie bags of fritos :p

if you are a good cook, you can make those little balls of chopped dates, nuts, seeds, etc. roll them up and refrigerate them. they make yummy snacks that provide lots of energy and you can eat them while driving.

if you want "bad" stuff, this is a good list of approved g/f foods

there's so much you can eat g/f. Have you contacted your local celiac chapter? they've probably got all kinds of lists of foods, snacks, recipes, etc.

For a gluten free cracker, I get ones called Marys Gone Crackers. Not cheap, but good.

Junk food yes, but Snikkidy Snacks makes the most amazing cheese puffs in "Mac N Cheese" and "Grilled Cheese." OMG I could eat a whole bag in one sitting.

    Thanks everyone!

    Here's one:
Granny smith apples, lemon, and rosemary. Cut up and mix in a bag, eat.

I've been gluten free/lots-of-things free for several years now, and here's my travel list:

    - trail mix with seeds and dried fruit. For an extra treat, I'll add Enjoy Life Chocolate chips
    - gluten free vegan muffins. I prefer raspberry. I slim them down with unsweetened applesauce so I don't need as much safflower oil.
    - apples or oranges
    - V8 Fusion cans have become critical!
    - carrots and GF hummus
    - Glutino breakfast bars
    - Enjoy Life rice granola

For actual meals, I have several salad, soup, and other recipes. My favorite at the moment is a Quinoa Black Bean salad. Low calorie, but still has protein and carb. :)
