Thread: Resistance chairs?

Does anyone know about these or have one? I'm wondering if it would be useful at home for me - in perimenopause, turning 50, and thinking I should start working my muscles a bit more. Here is an ebay listing of one of these. Thanks for any thoughts..g.:

I though it was a chair where when you sit in it, it help you "resist" buying cossies and stuff on the swapmeet!

Surida, have you seen the "Malibu"? I really,really wish I could get that one. Not possible right now, but keeping my eyes out for a used one ...... I saw it on TV & checked out the web site. It's small enough & seems to work on all muscle groups. I HATE Pilates, as much as I know it would help produce the results I want -- the Malibu chair seems to be a good way to go without a full Pilates "mat" program.
