Loosing weight: Yes! Deflated boobies: Oh noes! :o(
Awwww! ,f:: So since I've started walking and running on my new treadmill, I've also started loosing the extra pounds and I super happy about it.
Until I've notice something this weekend before getting ready for a gig on Saturday evening. I was trying on 2 costumes and both of them still fit the same on my lower waist and hips: not even a quarter of and inche less!
.w.:
But for the upper half of me, that was and other story: the hooks on the ribcage area of the bras were so loose, they had to be moved and inche and a half. And the hooks of the halter straps had to be moved 3 inches to bring the twins up at the right place.
The bra of the beautiful "Valentine red" costume I bought from Amity is a D cup: last Nov. the girls were "overflowing" in it. But now they're swimming in it and I'm back in wearing my C cups bra again.
This is a bit frustrating, I hope the lower rest of me will start shrinking soon...c::

it takes time. i know my mom loses weight starting at the top first and descending. i lose it in my face first and then pretty evenly throughout the rest of my body. i'm not sure how this pattern works, but it does! don't give up and don't worry about the boobies ;)
besides, not trying to be an instigator....but this could mean...MORE SPARKLIES IN THE FUTURE :D

Oh no! I hate it when the weight comes off in ways you don't expect. Or want. Whenever I gain weight, it first goes to my face, then to my girls, followed closely by my belly. My hips haven't change size in ages, and I really wish they would widen a little. I tried putting on a bit of weight but it always goes to the top first!
You'll get there! It's good to hear the treadmill is working for you.Last edited by Mayliz; 02-15-2010 at 05:31 PM.

Hi Qamar,
Well, I'm sure your whole body will even out soon. However, congratulations for losing some weight with persistent hard work. Cup size may stay down and once your waist slims down...you will be so happy!
I lost a whole cup size after my second baby and stayed an A cup. I was a B cup before my second child.
Continue the good work with the treadmill!

When I told this to one of my dancer friend (who is a busty girl), she replied: "Oh! So are you thinking of selling the blinky red one? ..g.:"
Don't worry guys, I'll keep up the workout! I have a big annual show in 5 weeks and I want to be ggggggooorgeouuuus!

yheah, going from barely C towards small B, and my gut isn't budging. im considering whether it's worth it and maybe i'll just go back to the cheese burgers and say "screw the blood sugar". T_T

Common wisdom used to say that you lost weight from the top down, so basically you'd lose it in your boobs before your bum!
It'll even out. Even if you don't drop any more weight, you will probably notice it shift.

One of my best friends loses her weight that way also.
If its any consolation, I've always been very small in the bust area but was satisfied with nice form upstairs. Well, after they ballooned to unbelievable proportions while nursing my twins they shrank back to smaller than before and not so great form.,m:: Lol so I feel your pain in a sense. Congrats on your exercise progress and as the ladies said it should even out all over.

Congratulations, it's still great progress. Most folks lose weight on top first then it slowly moves down your body, but your back is the last place to lose inches. I totally understand, each time I lose weight, I lose a cup size; this time though I'm kind of annoyed, I went from nice full C to a small B, even though VS keeps measuring me at a 32C. Why do you think I've have so many costumes ..l;, they all fit differently depending on what aize I am! There's the pharonics that I love (I think the bra is a #5 not #4 like I was told), that since I lost the weight, I have it double-padded, but it works.

I lost quite a bit of weight a while back and initially my boobs got quite small and it made me feel a bit self-conscience but after a while my body sorted itself out and I can proudly say I have boobs again not quite as large as before but I feel like they are a good size. :p

I hear you! I'm steadily losing weight and my D/DD costume are, um, not as fulfilled as they used to be on top. So many Bhuzzers have already posted that weight loss is a top down process for most, and I agree. Don't give up, just think, you can buy new costumes now.....

Ugh, I have to join the club on this one. My frustration is changing sizes and not being entirely one size or the other. Being broad across the chest requires demi cup styles, which are so hard to find! Victoria's Secret, here I come!
Thank goodness I padded the heck out of my costume bras, lol. They still fit.

Qamar - are you still on the treadmill? Still seeing results? If so, I would love to know how you stay motivated. My treadmill has become a boat anchor.

Hello to all!
Oh yes! I'm still devoted to my treadmill 5 to 6 times a week (if not, then it's because I have dance reheasals).
I have lost around 7 pounds of weight, maybe it doesn't sem like much, but I aware that my body is changing: My belly as flaten, but cheeks are thighter and now my throusers are more loose on me. So indeed, I feel more motivated.,r:;
I have started wearing sport crop tops for dance class again and the dance sisters had notice (and compliment about it). It's feel good
No fast miracle, but the hard work and good eating habits pays...
Hugs!
