Thread: Health and Nutrition Articles in the Belly Dance Chronicles Magazine

HI everyone - looking for some of your thoughts here :)

I am a Registered Dietitian and college instructor of food and nutrition science in the Dallas area.

I have started publishing diet and nutrition articles in the magazine produced by Isis called the Belly Dance Chronicles, maybe some of you subscribe?

Anywho, I having been publishing articles such as "eating Healthy on the road", "how to spot a fad diet", etc.

I am looking for more ideas on the next articles to write.
What kind of topics can you suggest or things you might be interested in reading about?

How about keeping your energy levels up while attending day long workshops and performing in the evening show? How do the pros maintain their hectic schedules and all the physical demands of teaching and dancing, what nutritional tricks do they use? What to eat, what to avoid.

Agree!!! how not to crash after dancing for long periods of time. What are our caloric needs as professional dancers?(more than 3 hours a day dancing?)

Don't laugh--this one always seems to come up at workshops that offer catered lunches: "What to eat for optimum gas management."

Pros & Cons of eating/becoming vegetarian...

Do figs really help your complexion? :)

I may looking into posting some info here from the articles, after the edition of Chronicles has been published for awhile....want to help their sales not hurt them!
