Thread: Soloution for dry, cracked feet FOUND!

I am always trying to keep my feet looking nice since I dance barefoot but dancing and running a ton take their toll on my feet. This year for Christmas I received a product called "Heel-tastic" as a white elephant gift and it works!

It comes in a sort of stick like a deodorant so you don't get you hands messy. I just put some on, throw on some socks, and voila! The effect stays even after having socks off to dance for hours. And after letting it soak into your feet for an hour or so, it's not greasy. Has anyone else tried this?

An easy and cost-effective method would be to warm up some vaseline and slather it onto your heels and any other area of the feet that are dry, add some thick socks and leave everything on overnight. Do this a few days in a row to get rid of any dry/cracked problems you currently have, and then every 4-5 days (or once a week depending upon the person) for upkeep.

It works wonders.

If your feet are cracked deep to the point of pain (I get that alot) before you go to bed:

Soak your feet in Water
Dry off
Apply Heeltastic
WRAP FEET WITH SARAN WRAP

By morning your feet will be soft and starting to heal!

I prefer Lemony Flutter by LUSH. It's vegan, without animal testing, smells heavenly (like my favourite ice cream) and will make all rough spots go away pronto - I use it on my elbows all the time as well

Kerasal is really good, too! I found mine at Walgreens, but I'm sure it is in every drug store.

Want to try the "Heeltastic" (although the commercials gross me out, LOL). Recently tried glycerin (veggie based) that I ordered from Amazon; very reasonable price, BIG bottle and it works incredibly well! Have started using it all over too, not just feet and calves. Actually got the idea from Dr. Oz - he recommends putting glycerin in your everyday lotions. I used it full strength on my feet and legs though, they were pretty bad, and it was instant gratification!!! Really amazing.

I like the foot creme made at Sobotanical in Baltimore (all their products are made in house, its AMAZING stuff!). The product Burts Bees makes for chapped hands works great on heels as well.

I had tried that, and bag balm, and almond oil, the socks,EVERYTHING and nothing gave the lasting results for me like this product.
