- My Inspirations
- Aegela. I found her in 2009 at Odessa's Siloh show in Cincinnati, Ohio and she blew my brain. At that moment I thought "THAT is Egyptian dance!!!" Since then I have moved to northern NY and continue to do my monthly pilgrimages to Aegela. I have taken from many great teachers, but Aegela pushes me to be better in a positive motivating, (at times aggravating/depressing) way. She truly wants each and every one of her students to succeed from the ground up and she doesn't let you quit working hard. But while you are getting your booty kicked she makes you feel happy about it!
