About Me

Hi bellydancers!
I'm Heaven, a Lebanese-American dancer in the amazing city of Oakland. I got into bellydance to explore my cultural roots and just fell in love! Through dance I have: met many wonderful people, deepened my connection with my mind, opened my mind in new ways, healed parts of myself, and been able to LOVE more! I believe creating beauty contradicts the ugliness in the world, which makes dance a revolutionary act. So let's DANCE!

My Favorite Dancers

I love my teacher Shabnam! I feel so lucky I get to dance in her amazing troupe Ooh La La and Shabnam Dance Company.

My Favorite Costumes

I love to make my own costumes, it is so fun!

I am a singer and songwriter and I perform at events around the Bay Area. In addition, I have a BA in Sound Arts and Engineering. It's fun to cut bellydance music! ;)
