i ordered 2. one was special order made from photos i sent to her. The other was from her website but with some changes..such as mermaid style skirt and sleeves that cover my shoulders! it took 2 months. Email communication was great! i have to say that one of my students ordered from her and hers only took 3 weeks! she shipped my students the same day she shipped mine!!! so we are both anxiously waiting our costumes!!! I will be letting you know when the box comes!!! thats for sure...

BTW, What were prices like, especially on the custom one from the photo? I'm thinking I need a really nice costume, but don't have the time to sew forever.

I will, I will, I will!!! just checked my porch to see if a box is there.....not there..bummer. My custom order was some photos of a bella that i loved, but not the color!!! she quoted me $750 for it!....ill let you know how it compairs when i get it!!!!!...

Shaynaz, I'm dying to know if that's a Turkish doll on the table behind you in the first photo -- I bought a Dervish doll playing the ney from Dahlal -- handmade in Turkey, light as a feather, I love it .... this looks like its by the same artist?

so how did prices compare overall, were paganini's prices more reasonable than Bella's? how much did the wire transfer cost? I thought I remembered hearign that shipping usually costs around $100... so I guess there would be no price breaks on all those "incidental fees" but if the costumes themselves are less costly then the overall cost goes down..

doh - just reread the thread. .. so the 750 is for each costume then? I guess its not a bargain alternative. too bad, lolz!

750usd was for the red one cuz it was made from photos i had of a costume that i loved! the fusia costume was #11 on her website but i asked for the skirt to be mermaid style and the sleeves to go over the shoulders! it was 39 extra euros for that. shipping for 2 costumes by EMS was 120usd

the wire transfer i paid 40 extra to my bank. there was no other charges that i had to pay.

seriously, i cannot tell which is a paganini or a bella...i now own some of both! Paganini will have a customer for life!! well my life anyway. she is also very accomodating to requests on what you want!
