    Pattern for Arm Drapes

I picked this up over the weekend since the McCalls patterns were $1.99:

    Has anyone used this?

no, I haven't used it. have you checked patternreview.com? That's a cute pattern, but check before you sew it that it allows enough fabric for you to move your arms around! you never know with patterns!

Good thinking. I don't think I'll include the connecting piece. I was especially curious to see the layout to take advantage of bias in the fabric.

You can easily make your own pattern by drawing a big circle with a donut hole in the middle. The donut hole's circumference is your bicep measurement and the radius from the donut to the outer circle is the length you want it. Split the circle on the radius and sew the donut circle to your armband. You will get that bias drape you're looking for, too.

You could always use the pattern and just add extra length to the connecting piece. Sometimes I like my back covered.

Why not make arm bands that you attach a circular veil to. That is what this looks like to me.
