Thread: looking for nice arm bands

Hi,

I'm one of those folks that prefers to wear something on her upper arm, ya' know, to hide the arm waddle (we all got it - I know), but I like to minimize mine...

Sadly, not all costumes come with armbands or tall gauntlets. ...And finding fabric to match is usually very difficult.

I'd like to find something in gold and/or silver to go with most anything. I don't want cheesy or low quality, I want something that looks up-scale...

Any ideas or know of places that have such items?

yes, I love my L. Rose arm drapes! They actually won me a modeling job; the art director kept obsessing over how beautiful the fluttery sleeves looked in this Michael Baxter photo.

I'll fourth (or fifth?) the L. Rose recommendation. They have so many options- gauntlets, scrunchies, arm bands, drapes - and they're not expensive but they really complement the cabaret costumes.
If you're looking for sequin or beaded arm bands, I once ordered a pair of upper arm bands from Baladi Boutique (Baladi Boutique Armbands, Sleeves and Bracelets) and was very happy with them. Depending on what color/style you need to match - you might need to email or call them to see what they can do. I ordered a gold pair with sequins and paillettes to match a gold bedlah and they go perfectly with it.
