    a new carb low

    No, not low carb, but a new low in pathetic depravity I've sunk to in a 11 pm carb craving. I'm out of the usual things I go for (sugary cereal, milk) and I never keep cookies or ice cream in the house, and dark chocolate/peanut butter was not going to satisfy (because I already had it earlier in the day). So digging in my pantry I found some dry ladyfingers. I started eating one but it wasn't sweet enough so I decided I needed to dip it in...hmm...out of honey, but wait there's a tin of maple syrup -- that will do. My efforts were thwarted by my inability to open the tin. I dig further back and find a jar of black strap molasses. This also is stuck shut, but some hot water does the trick. By this time I have finished the lady finger so I just eat some black strap molasses straight out of the jar with a spoon. Damn! the stuff's nasty straight up. So I find a jar of homemade marmalade given to me by a friend. I'm out of all breads so I just ate about a third of the jar. Okay, it was a small jelly jar but still.

    Gah! Going to bed now.,f::

    awww... I hate when I have those days. Im usually severely PMSing when I am crawling through the back of my cubbards at 1am dragging out granola bars that I forgot we had. I totally feel your pain.

    There you go again, Anala, I am going to pee!!!

    My theory is if you eat it all at once in one sitting, then it will all be gone and you'll have nothing sugary left to eat. Good one, huh?

    Try the sweet vegetable tea (Dieter Thread). It's meant to stave sweet cravings... Make sure you're getting bitter/salty/pungent/sour in all your meals so that you're not craving anything that may have been missing. Check your salt intake. Normally we crave the extreme ends of the spectrum. For example, I MUST eat my Kettle Brand Chili Lime Chips along with Liz Lovely Vegan Cookies (will somebody pleeeeeeaaaaassssssee send me a box! I'm dyin' out heah!!).
