Oh Man Thalia!! I wanted that necklace - the square with the hole in it!! If you find it doesn't suit you, you know how to find me.

Re: Holy mountain of stuff, Batman!

    UPDATE!!! 2:05 p.m., pst

Okay, so photos are in my gallery...and prices are evidently not there. So, here goes (and prices are negotiable, and I love to trade too if you're short on cash!)

Kuchiesque necklace: $7 ship inc. (was $10)

Bellydance dress w/mesh middle: new, handmade $50 ship inc. (was $60)

    Hot pink lace: 14 yards X 4 1/2 inches, $10 ship inc.

Tassels: white cotton, 5" long, bakers dozen, $10 ship inc.

Jewelled earrings: available in smoke, bright green, blue, bright pink. $3 ship inc.

Wood bead chandeliers: available in natural and black beads. $4 inc. ship.

Slinky bracelet: single piece of wire, slinky style, $4 inc. ship. I have more than one of these!

Cuff bracelet: I just love this one...I have one and I wear it all the time! Adjustable, just bend/straighten it a little. $4 inc. ship. I have more than one of these!

Not pictured: 1 5/8 yards cream cotton 1" brush fringe. Very soft and fluffy! $7 inc. shipping.

I also make Turkish vests and I'll be putting up my own website in a week or so. I've had so much fun making these for my teacher, her troupe, and myself that I'm branching out. Yippee! They'll be $30-$40 bucks, depending on the fabrics used. I can't take orders yet, but think about what kinds of vests you might want. Do you ladies think it would be better if I made a few basics? Should I put closures on them or let you do it? Just a little market research. :)

    Does this help everyone?

Hi Zafirah, I think the faux amber choker is the one with the beads. I'm taking the glass pendant necklace and wood bead chandeleirs.

    Doozer I just PM'd you back. :-)

My measurements are 38-30-42 and the dress fits *except* the middle...it's a bit large for me. The dress would fit someone taller than me (I'm 4' 9") so if you're over 5' 4" it should be fine.

Awesome! They're so pretty, with all kinds of beads in the same color...:)they're also light so they won't kill you to wear them for a long time. :) I'll pm my email.

Re: Holy mountain of stuff, Batman!

Oops! I'm sorry to have taken so long to get back to you on this...I'll go measure....

52 inches long from the back neck.

Underbust is 34 unstretched, up to a comfortable 38 stretched.

Mesh middle is 30 inches unstretched, up to 36 stretched. Eight inches from underbust to top of skirt portion.

Skirt is 36 inches unstretched at the hip, goes to 44 comfortably, and is 35 inches long from nice bellydance belt level.

Slit up to mid hip, neckline is zigzag stitched with elastic in the casing...this baby won't budge! There are two side seams in the mesh middle and all inside seams are either serged or zigzagged nicely. I like how this seamstress uses preloved (though immaculate) garments, vintage fabrics, and unusual and innovative designs. I found her on eBay when I searched for keywords 'bellydance dress.' She ships fast and her garments are one of a kind. I'm bummed to have to let this go but I waited too long to return it because I wanted to keep it so badly!

Re: Holy mountain of stuff, Batman!

The black belly dance dress, when you say large, what are the measurements? I am 41 around the hips, and wear a 38 D bra, but if I measure around my rib cage I am 36". I don't like things to cling too much. Would this dress be suitable for me? Also would you post to Australia?

Addition: I see the measurements of the dress, they must have been posted as I wrote this. Sounds like a good fit for me. I am interested if the ladies before me pass on it - Thanks
