    La Moakhza - artist? translation?

Is anyone familiar with La Moakhza? I found it on a compilation disk of recent Egyptian pop music I bought from a vendor who currently is traveling in Egypt (hopefully gathering more interesting music!).

I'd love to know the name of the singer -and - I'd really love to know what she's saying/singing.

I've checked the various music and translation sites (I even checked Youtube!), but haven't found anything. So - I've uploaded the song and am hoping that someone can identify the singer and/or help figure out the lyrics.

    It's a fun song - I think you'll enjoy hearing it.

    Thanks for your help!!

I like it. It sounds cutesy almost! I'm curious to know if anyone is familiar with this too.

    The song is good!
I think the style of the song and the voice really look like Marwa.
    Can't confirm though...

I can't help you with the song translation, but according to my Arabic language tapes, "La Moakhza" means "Excuse me"

The word means "Excuse me", I'm pretty sure. It's the first phrase you learn on PImsleur's Egyptian Arabic.
