Thread: Birthday Song

My Dad is coming into town for his birthday and I will be dancing that same weekend. I thought it would be kind of fun to acknowlegde (I know spelled wrong) his birthday. Any suggestions where I can find something to dance to for his birthday?

I've use both these songs the one on Now thats what I call Arabia 9 is Inzal ya Gameel by Walid Toufik which has the chorus Happy Birthday to you in English- the title of the actual song means come over here my darling and the Arabic words in the verse don't have anything to do with birthday basically they saying how lovely the person is.Lasts round 4 .30m.
The happy Birthday to you song which is sung in English and then in Arabic and last 1.50m is on the Cd the magic of belly dance by the Salatin El Tarab Orchestra. The same track is also on the CD Wings of Isis 2

About 9-10 years ago Jehan used to sell a cassette tape called "Happy Birthday, Love, Jehan" that included a happy birthday song. I don't know whether she still sells it, now on CD, but you could always email her and ask. It was lots of fun.

Oh thanks for the tips! I think I need to get that Now that's what I call Arabia 9 cd! That's so cool that the main song is about how lovely the person is because that's exactly my Dad! He's always been so selfless, especially when my Mom had breast cancer and then when she had terminal cancer.
