Thread: Habibi ya eini / aini

I would like to find some good versions of this to download online. I searched emusic to no avail. Anyone got any suggestions, I'm looking for one with a nice saidii section in the middle, but anything no too techno will do. Any suggestions ?

The Sultans and Maya Yazbak (which I got long ago from Mazikana) ain't too techno.

That sounds great, is it possible to download it online? If so where?

There is one on Amira Mor's cd - not techno-y at all, very classic. Not sure if you can download it on line, but here's the cd's amazon link:

Nourhan's version has a more Saidi feel.

The song is really more classic beledi. Nancy Ajram does a beautiful job.

Then of course the original Maya Yazbak version. No youtube clip. Most of the instrumental recordings I know of are more beledi than Saidi other than the Nourhan version.

Thanks! I've learned so much as I've been putting it together. There is still a lot to add, plus soon I want to exchange links with dancers and teachers, which should help bring more visitors to the site.

It was the Nourhan version that I wanted, I can't believe I had it all along on my ipod. No wonder I had such a clear idea about how it sounded. I'm really grateful for all the answers and have explored the lyrics too in some of the links above. I heart Bhuz.

I love the Nourhan version, too! Very upbeat and energetic :) The version I mentioned just above has a cool old-school tone about it, with a slow intro and beautiful violin...before heading into the upbeat. Male and female voices as well.

I think she is referring to Wahyatak Habibi -- I have the album and it's got Habibi ya Eini on it. You can buy it on Dahlal too.

The Nourhan version is great. You can also get it on CD - Bellydance Superstars Volume 3

This has a version by Mayodi which is lengthy and has a male vocalist.
