Thread: you want to move?

We did a drum solo choreography last week to a drum solo that started by someone saying 'you want to move?'. I remember that it's also on an IAMED performance dvd, but I can't find the name or artist of the drum solo.

Searching on youtube didn't help either, I'm hoping that you can help me out. Later in the song, the voice over also says 'can you handle this'.

I hope that someone can point me in the right direction, or know the title of the cd where I can find the drum solo. ..g.:

It's Said Mrad, from the album Another 1001 Nights. I think the song is called Move, there's a couple of different mixes of it on the album.

It's called Move, by Saed Mrad, on Another 1001 Nights. There are two versions of it, different lengths. Fun stuff!

How funny - we just recently did that song in class.

thank you all!!! It's a fun song, I'm going to the public library tomorrow to see if I can get the cd there.

Also nice to see how the dancer in the clip interpreted the drum solo. It always amazes me how many options there are to dance a song.

I just choreographed a drum solo to that song too:) I love it. I got it on a mixed CD at a conference. Its a short version though, a minute 45 but its great for me because my drum solo is not my strongest technique. I am all ooey gooey and slinky...not pop lock and shimmy hard and fast. Its been a great stretching experience though to really work on it.
