Thread: Orit's workshop music

Any of you Bhuz members that were in Orlando this summer for Orit's workshop at Aziza's Birthday bash, Orit used track 4 off her Romantic Oriental CD, it had Hossam Ramzy's drum solo layered into the song, I'm trying to find the artist of this arrangement, and the CD this is off of, any ideas?? Thanks!!

Hi, Aradia! I, too, have been looking for it. http://www.bhuz.com/forum/music-trad...ya-bahaia.html It's the song in the second clip (post #5). This turned into searching for versions of Ya Bahaia in general, but posts #26 & #27, carolabrie and Bahaia said that version is on a CD that Tito had at workshops in Montreal and Las Vegas in 2007. I haven't tried (yet) to locate a copy of that CD. If you know how to get a copy, could you let me know? I really like that version.

By the way, which Hossam Ramzy drum solo is it? I've been so focused on finding the song that I haven't looked from the drum part.

I'm not sure, I was performing to it, and a dancer said that it was his drum solo mixed in, because she has a choreo to it, I didn't think to ask her which CD of his was used, maybe he knows more about this track??? I've been performing to it a lot, but I'm interested in getting the rights to it, which is hard when it's so elusive!!!

I think that Orit tends to mix sound tracks together for her performances and that's why it's hard to find information on them.

Hi, David! Did you pick up a copy of the CD that Tito was selling when you last saw him? It seems that's the only solid lead on the full version of this "Ya Bahaia" that Orit used.
