Thread: where to get songs translated?

Does anyone know where I can get songs translated from Arabic? A website or a person who offers that service?

I assume you already know about my site and others that have some songs already translated? Mine has almost 100 Arabic translations at Translations to Song Lyrics from the Middle East and North Africa

Your best bet is to develop a relationship with an Arabic-speaking person, keeping in mind that the dialect will change depending on the song.

For instance, Om Kalthoum songs are usually in a more classical Arabic, sha'abi songs will tend to be in Egyptian colloquial, Feiruz in Lebanese Arabic, etc...

Aasiyah here on Bhuz was advertising that she was doing some translations, you may contact her to see if she can help.

I've also asked Noura from Little Egypt to translate for me - I have the translation of "Min Hobi Fik ya Gari" on my website that she did several years ago.
