Can anyone recommend a cool Greek party song where the words are OK for a Greek speaking crowd

I did a Greek wedding last year and I used this song by Sarbel. It's a part Greek, part Arabic version of Sidi Mansour and the crowd loved it!! But they were mostly younger - an older crowd might not appreciate pop as much...

I could give you a whole heap of awful Greek party music - I used to work in Greece years ago and it seemed the same album of dire tracks was played over and over in the same restaurants, the one that sticks in my mind most was "Play Bouzouki" and to this day it makes me reach for the razor blades.

That Sidi Mansour is great, but yes, it might not fit with an older crowd. For them, how about "Never on a Sunday?" - apparently the first song from a movie to win an oscar.

Anyway there are tons of versions of it out there, and everyone will recognise it.

So that's why they play that song so many times at Greektown festival every year!!

I like Opa Nina Nai nai. Its on one of Harry Saroyan's CD's.
