    Quick arabic translation Q

Hey, I was wondering if anyone out there knows what this song title from REG III means in english: "Soboh el Kheir". I googled it and see that "sabah el kheir" means "good morning" in arabic, and was wondering if the song title meant something similar or different?

    Thanks!

It might be just how they are spelling morning..sabah. You know with those transliterations there are so many different kinds of spellings.
    Just a guess.

as far as i know, there isn't a double meaning to it. altho i don't remember what else is said in the song but i remember 'sabah al khair' and 'bahebak' which means i love u. i don't remember what else is said tho within those short 20 min. of the woman actually singing (if we're thinking of the same song. the one yallar did her fain veils choreo to,right?)

eta: there are many other transliterations so that that could explain the different title

I don't think this is the same song, Zana. This one is an instrumental, with different instruments playing the main themes. I think I hear piano (!), violin, guitar and accordion playing in the piece. And it's something like 4 mins long, not 20.

One of my teachers told me that the song title means something like "happy bright morning", kind of a very optimistic "good morning". I like that idea.

    :)

Soboh Al Kheir means Good Morning. The transliteration of Arabic is not universal. You will find many spellings , in English, for the same Arabic words. ..g.:
