yes you can dance to this song...I love the melody and the drum beat actually, goes nice, one of those songs that called Arabesk in Turkish.
she is talking about her love and telling him "dont trust yourself this way, in this time nobody is a Sultan, vezir or Padisah"...

I would make it a playful performance with this and use it towards the end as more finale.
I think it would go nice with finger cymbals as well.

what patterns do you think would be good for the finger cymbals? i'm a Jamila Salimpour CD addict and worry about doing too much or not enough...

hmmmm well I am mummbling and using my fingers...in the office now ;-)
I think alternating half time and full time mixture of
    3 1 3 1 3
    3 3 7
    3 5 7
even I could use Left Right Rigth
and of course, our boring Longa RLR
but to challenge yourself why dont you do RLR and LRL alternate or just LRL
and all the above with Left hand dominant
that is what I am working on now...oh...so hard

i have been practicing rlr lrl rlr lrl for 3's and rlr lrl rlrlrl for 3 3 7...it's so HARD on my brain to alternate like that and i'm super slow ...i does feel more balanced on my body though.

thank you for your suggesstions ..g.:
