lol dont u hate it when work blocks all the good websites? i mean, we need breaks from work at times. but then again, if i could access youtube at work i would never get any work done because i would be watching bd videos all day :)

I THINK it is El Laila Helwa. Well, a version of it. I use it from the Samy Farag album Dunia El Raks. It is a GREAT song and the ME audiences love it.

It's Leila Hilwa also spelled El Leilah Helwa

Yes, it's Leila El Helwa. The only recorded version I know of is Dr. Samy Farag's version on Dunia el Raks. I used to have live bands play this for me at the club and weddings. The ME audience always went crazy. Basically it means This is a beautiful night. Or this is a holiday.

I would like to know who's version this is. The Farag version, doesn' have a nice ending as it just fades out as it goes into the beledi. It really sounds like the version Dina danced to with that male singer. So how do you get a copy??????

4:10 Various Artists: "Wahyatak Habibi" (which is the same version as the one above)
7:09 Folk Song and Oriental Dance vol. 1 and 5: bought from Little Egypt
3:59 Samara: Music for Oriental Dance
