Rompi Rompi - BD for Fame and Fortune version

A local dancer is using this music in my show, I'm trying to burn the show CD but I'm missing this piece. I can't find it on itunes or e-music. Does anyone know where I can get it? The dancer in question is having computer problems and can't send me the file.

    Thank you!

This CD is sold by Stella Gray in New York, the same person who now owns Habibi magazine.

    Thank you both!

It's a CD I definitely want to get my hands on, I've heard it has lots of nice & short tracks.

Huh. That reminds me - is it time to have another 'where's my Habibi' thread? I paid for the magazine a couple of years ago and so far I've only gotten about two copies, I think.

Scherezade Imposts (http://scheherezadeimports.com/) carries this CD. I love this music for beginners -- several different styles, mostly short. ;-)

I am curious about this CD: as great songs there are most of the Turkish tunes just do not sound Turkish (especially I keep on wondering why Rompi Rompi sounds to be somehow "off-the-beat") so are the musicians in this one Greek or Armenian or just "American" as tunes feel to be "close but not close enough"

Unfortunately I have lost my original copy but still i think this CD is excellent for AmCab or "American vintage Turkish" but for real Turkish Rom I would rather recommend something else (by Turkish Rom musicians).
