Looking for Turkish songs
Hi all!
I'm dancing at a Turkish restaurant this weekend and always have trouble finding good Turkish songs. Any suggestions (more pop style preferably)?
Thanks.

I suppose you already know this but what about Tarkan's songs? Or Mostafa (can't remember his last name but he's really gorgeous). There are some pretty good songs on Putomayo's Turkish Groove.

Mustafa Sandal? :)
I've heard a few of his songs as well as Tarkan's.. Will have a listen again and see if I can find anything upbeat!

I love this song
she has a lot more in the style that we call "Arabesk" in Turkish, kind of pop but Middle Eastern patterns to it.

I also use Firuze Sultan CD songs, Selim Sesler (romani style), Emel Sayin has similar songs to Ebru Gundes...
Ibrahim Tatlises songs (some in Asena CD) also good in Arabesk style

Re: Looking for Turkish songs
Thanks Patrisha for your great support as always. I would not say this is a traditional Turkish style but I like to give example of a song could not find a better way to solicite my video...;)
Pop songs nowadays are so great examples of how Arabesk and Turkish music combined, so unique and fun at the same time...and of course I love Ebru Gundes...
