Looks like it's from a Hollywood Music Center DVD - I think it's from "On Fire".

The On Fire CD has only the first part of the song which is what is on the Rania clip. The second part of the song is she calls ooloo baladi on Belly Dance at it's Best CD, track #4. The song was made popular by Dina. The full song can be found on Samara al hilwa by Hollywood Music Center.

The name of Rania's song should have been "Ana Taabana." Every time I see that clip, I am distracted by how tired she looks. That performance must have been the last thing filmed because her energy levels really drop in spots, and the overall effect is that she looks like she really just wants to go home.

YES, and frankly, the Rania version cuts out the best part of the song, IMO.

Helwa laba di is available through iTunes.

Agreed. That's what happens when you are forced to adhere to strict time limits. Some pieces of music just shouldn't be cut.

Yes, you're right! I just heard the whole song and there's a wonderful part coming up after where it has been cut. If one has to respect time's limits, maybe the best option is choosing a shorter song...
