    Hi everyone!!!

Hope to see you there! Am eally excited about taking a class with her. Found a few promo clips of her dancing on Youtube, but not actual performances.

Sumaya, thanks for the compliment. Also, FABULOUS photo!!! Isn't David just wonderful!! I really like that costume & got some great pics from photoshoot where I'll share with everyone when I get the CD. I got the dress from King of the Nile. I think they only have lime green & orange sherbert. I added the beads & sequin flower design to bring it out a little more. I think I will be have some available for the weekend.

    Take care!

Tipsuda, I PM'd you asking about the difference between your Alexandrian and Cairo milayas but didn't get a response. What is the difference?

Tipsuda, Do you make the really heavy ones with gold paillettes on the edges? I am looking for the one that is heavy enough to make its own air conditioning when you twirl it. Is the the Traditional Alexandrian version?

    Thanks,

    Lisa

PS Did you get my emails or PM's on the CD?

    Hi,

I have taken with Faten Salama and love her. Does anyone know if she will be in the San Francisco / San Jose, CA area?

    Thanks

After watching Faten Salama perform..I was speechless for the rest of the evening. It is so rare to see such a powerful, emotional, heartfelt, and beautiful performance. I saw every note of the music on her body. I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes. Amazing. Thank you Raksanna for bringing her to us and sharing her with us. I am inspired and in awe.

    Hi Lisa!

Yes! The heavier melayas have heavy weight partly stretch fabric & paillettes on edging. I can custom make pailletes in whatever paillette color you like. They are nice weight that when you twirl, you will get some movment- definitely. Right now I have 3 yards, large tradit. Alexandrian melaya with gold paillettes.

I don't prefer the chiffons since they don't get the same control & grasp. I have pics floating around somewhere in the gallery if youwould like to see an example.

Thanks & talk to you soon!
