Thread: New Songs Needed

Hi there,

I would love to know where I can get classical songs which are fast fun and has its traditions but new?


Normally I pick 3 songs I like and remix them so I can have my own new classical collections, but now I want new beats and new rhythms to dance to and try new things with it.

I'm not aware of anything that fits that specific description, since I think you're looking for Arabic classics, not something like the remakes of the mid-20th-Century American standards that Jean-Marie Riachi put together. I think you just have to trawl around various music sites until you find something you like. Sometimes they redo old songs for the talent shows like Star Academy, and there are club mixes of the Big Four's recordings out there, so maybe someone else has suggestions?

Masters of Bellydance I and II have some great classics. Some vintage stuff by Harry Saroyan and George Abdo, as well as Eddie Kochak always are good to check out.
