Thread: Song ID?

Hi all,

Once again I'm looking for the name of an obscure song on a video. I know I've asked someone this question before, and I even think I have a version of it in my collection, but I'm blanking.

The part I'm after starts at 2:02 on this vid:

"Ayi Damhet Hozon", I think. I have this song by Warda. Not sure who else has versions of the song, but the one in this clip is nice! Google search doesn't bring me anything else, so maybe if you played around with the spelling you'd have better luck.

Okay, I found another version, It's on Belly Dance with Warda and Abdel Halim Hafez. Ayi Damhet Hozn.

The reason it's so familar to me, I spent a year learning a choreography to a routine that started with this music in advanced class. Unfortunately the version I was thinking of is on a unmarked cassette tape.

It's Abdel Halim, not Warda.

Last night, I picked up Reda's Flower at Tatika's in Mesquite. It has a very cute version of this song (there are bongos involved). They call it "Hozn La" on this album.
