Asal wa Sukar
Can anyone tell me about the song "Asal wa Sukar" on the album Heya di Yasmina? Sounds like Om Kalthoum stuff to me, but I can't find anything about it via google. I also can't find my original CD, which might have liner notes.
Lyric translation would be great.

08-30-2007 09:08 PM #3I know that "Asal wa Sukar" means "Honey and Sugar"
She also says "Oyoun habibi, asal" which sounds to me like "The eyes of my beloved are like honey"
I hear "Inta habibi, ya helwi ya asmar" - You are my beloved, dark and sweet
I'm not 100% certain of the words, as I'm going from my minimal arabic, so if anyone can confirm or deny i'd be happy to hear it.
