Thread: where to find "Ya Hawa" by Shady Sayegh

I'm looking for an mp3 download or cd where I can find the song "Ya Hawa" by Shady Sayegh. It's the same song used in Jillina's Lebanese Pop Choreo dvd. I think she has a companion cd you can buy, but I wondered if there were other options. Thanks!..g.:

I have looked for this song previously but as far as I could tell it was only available on the compilation cd.

Sorry, not a clue. I checked seven different Arabic music sites, some in Arabic, and not a one of them had any info on Shady Sayegh. These are the places where I would go to find if he had an album out, but he doesn't have an artist page under that name at any of them. There are other singers with the first name of Shady, but I'm not seeing anything on those sites when I search on just "Shady" and the song title, either.

I did, however, find a discussion of the song at ATL, where someone claimed that Jillina's version is actually a cover of the Wael Kfoury song "Omry Killo" off the album of the same name. (ATL is being wonky today and keeps bouncing me back to the main page and won't let me link directly to the thread, but if you google "shady ya hawa site:allthelyrics.com" you can go right to it by looking at the cached version.) Is this the same song?

Thanks for the info, Tourbeau. This song sounds different then the one I'm looking for. I'll listen closely to see if the lyric match, but the tone is very different.

Yes, that is the same song, the one on Jillina's comp is a cover version which is a little more upbeat. They are both very pretty though.
