French help: Alger Alger
Interested in the lyrics for this song, I think it's super beautiful and am curious to know what he's singing
I'm guessing it's about how he still loves Algeria (he was exiled):

Re: French help: Alger Alger
Half of it is Arabic.
But as far as I understand he says, Paris is nice, but nothing like Algeria.
Something about the sun...
And how he is attached to Algeria since his childhood.
Many young people regret... (something Arabic)
I call out to you...

Re: French help: Alger Alger
Lili Boniche is hard to understand, but I have a version where you can understand the lyrics better:
I love all cities, Paris a bit more than the rest/ but there is nothing like Algeria/ She is beautiful and we love her to madness/wherever we are, we never forget her/ Algeria how we love her.
But the lyrics how Lili Boniche sings them are there, in the comments:
Alger Alger chhal nhabha.
Qelbi Qelbi, on était pris.

Re: French help: Alger Alger
Thanks for the replies.
I saw that the lyrics are in the comments on the video, but my French is very poor and it is a mix of French and Arabic, so I thought I'd post here.
I tried the Babelfish tranlation thingy, and it spewed nonesense.
Thanks Again!
