Does anyone have a translation of this song, or at least have an overall idea what it's about? Google is not helping much.

It's on BDSS #4, I believe, as well as Hoda's CD "Sha'bi Chic"

I haven't found the lyrics, either (another spelling option is Ashouk Uyoum), but can I say how GRATEFUL I would be if BDSS would provide translations for such songs? Please, pretty please?

It looks like the song is actually called "Ashouf feek youm," which would explain why it would be hard to find the lyrics from what's on the BDSS CD. The lyrics are here in Arabic Hoda lyrics. My skills aren't good enough to translate them for you, but if you take them to a translation forum like ATL, you should be able to find someone to help you there.

From my very limited Arabic I think the title means "I see you one day".

Could be. My Arabic verb tenses are horrible. It's something about seeing and something about day, but I don't know why it's "اشوف فيك" instead of "اشوفك", which is why I'm not offering to translate.
